Charlie recorded his first Christmas song, “Hands Around The World”, at the invitation of its composer, Cedric Whitehouse.  Cedric is a much respected songwriter and musician, having worked around the World with a variety of artistes including, Kenny Rodgers, Roy Orbison and Chaka Khan.  He recently wrote the music to lyrics by Patricia Cubas, wife of a New York fireman who died in the 9/11 tragedies.  It was featured during this years 6th anniversary.  Cedric’s music is regularly featured on daytime TV in the USA.  Charlie is keen to collaborate with Cedric on other projects in the near future.  Cedric shares his time between his homes in Oddingley, Worcestershire and the more glamorous Miami.

When it was discussed with Charlie that we would like to share this project with a worthwhile charity, he was overjoyed when we suggested the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign, because his former classmate and reading partner, Murray Field, suffers with duchenne muscular dystrophy.  Charlie’s hope is that the Christmas song will raise a lot of money for his friend’s charity.
